these vagabond shoes are longing to stray

i'm back....and my feet are killing me! five days of going around in circles in times square and up and down the subway terminals of uptown and downtown manhattan, tell me if your feet wouldn't give up on you. good thing i'm wearing my flat boots.

it was fun though. two broadway shows, three parks,two museums, two trips to the empire state building (because the first time, we had zero visibility), a lot of pictures taken with wax people at madame tussauds, and one very old battleship later, we were ready to retire our shoes and head home. the weather was quite surprising that week because it started out as rainy, to windy, to chilly and to cold but sunny on the last day.

i got to experience using the subways like a real new yorker. we broke traffic laws by crossing the street on a "don't walk" signal. and more laws were broken because i lost my seven day unlimited metrocard pass on our third day, that i had to go through the turnstile together with vincent using his card. now the NYPD is on the lookout for me... he he he.

i'm tired right now. i just wanna get some sleep and give my tired feet some rest. but you bet, there will be more of my NYC mini break on the next post.
